There is no surprise there Australia television is terrible, you end up watching more advertisements then the actual show.

+ A lot of the younger demographic no longer watch free to air tv due to its being all rubbish.

It did, but the last two seasons on the earlier channel were better than what I saw after. They cut the budget, weaker presenter, cut live feed (thought I didn't see that). It's similar to the UK switch to CH5, though that was even more disastrous.
