I'm 100% certain it's because of the flash vote. The typical young viewer who would want Paul and/or Brandi saved for drama will be out on a Friday night and miss the whole thing, while their aunt is sat at home voting for Derek.

Look, we would all rather live with them than Jemma or Sarah, but watching them is sending me to sleep

I don't even like Paul yet I still wanted him to stay over Derek and Helen. We've lost 2 big characters and that leaves Jemma and Sarah and Chad who's in 'batchelor mode

Hoping it was strategic voting to get Paul/Brandi out of the house.
