Live Shows Confirmed

They will begin on Saturday October 28th, air for 6 weeks and end on Sunday December 3rd :(

RileyH 04-09-2017 11:43 AM

mess

Ross. 04-09-2017 11:43 AM

TRAGIC!

supertv247 04-09-2017 11:45 AM

Because it's starting on Halloween weekend like 2015 there won't even be a Halloween theme :(

Cal. 04-09-2017 11:46 AM

Trash.

Daniel-X 04-09-2017 11:49 AM

Wtf? :umm2:

Who even cares about auditions/Bootcamp? (They could easily do auditions in three/four weeks and axe Bootcamp)

Ross. 04-09-2017 11:50 AM

Bootcamp is the most boring part axe her!

Jack_ 04-09-2017 11:55 AM

It's going to be a disaster, I bet they don't have a sing off on the Saturday either :skull:

8 weeks would've been a better compromise, one week more than 2015 but still less than usual. 6 weeks is taking the piss

supertv247 04-09-2017 12:15 PM

I've always said The Voice needs to copy the X Factor live shows, not the opposite  it just won't work

cliffxen 04-09-2017 12:22 PM

ugh lives is like the main reason i watch the show

Same tbh, I normally watch 6CC and the Lives

pontyboi 04-09-2017 07:32 PM

I don't see the problem? Infact if you look at viewing figures most people only tune into the auditions and boot camp twists ECT anyway.

Yeah but the live shows are the only important part tbh

lewis111 04-09-2017 07:47 PM

The live shows are when you really get to know the acts
No one in 2015 really got to show themselves or any diversity in their preforming

Imagine the likes of Saara in 6 weeks? She needed time to blossom and allow people to
Fall in love with her and it worked over like 10 weeks

The live shows are my favourite part of the show but looking at it from a production point of view they are the least popular weeks recently.

It's nuts to think it used to get almost 20 million people tuning in for a finale only 9 years back and now gets like 6+ million which is basically an episode of eastenders.

Exactly! Six weeks isn't enough time. A lot of the best winners we've had - notably Alexandra, James, Little Mix - hadn't even gotten near the top of the vote until after week 6. They won't be able to make a successful artist like this, it's why The Voice never can

Brother Leon 04-09-2017 08:16 PM

So they are desperate for a talented star to come out of this show so they cut the live shows and time people have to get to know the contestants. Makes sense..

Nicky91 05-09-2017 08:44 AM

lmao we might be getting a multiple elimination weeks then :hehe:

Aren't the live shows on Saturdays and Sundays this year?

They could do a generic theme on Saturday and Halloween theme on the Sunday.

They sing on the Saturday, someone gets eliminated in a flash result, and then there's a normal sing off on the Sunday. I do believe that's confirmed.

Actually the new format was suggesting that all finalists would perform Saturday, then one would be eliminated after a flash vote and then they'd all perform again on Sunday with another flash vote. So basically two sets of live shows a week now instead of one.
So yeah, it is possible the Sunday could be Halloween themed if this is what they're doing

Jack_ 07-09-2017 12:14 AM

Tell me I misinterpreted that and they're not getting rid of the sing-off altogether :umm2:

Jack_ 07-09-2017 12:14 AM

To be replaced by the worst 'twist' they ever did...

If they go ahead with this, I'd assume so, because the show would be like 4 hours long each night if they had all the performances + guest act + results + sing off + elimination :(

reece(: 07-09-2017 12:15 AM

No final showdown
No drunk Shazza on Xtra Factor
Sunday being a pointless replay of Saturday

axe it now!
