Understanding the Middle East's cold war

I think this is a great video for this section. It explains much of the complex situation in the Middle East.Quite interesting.
How the whole area is a proxy war between Iran and Saudi. How Iraq's dictatorship under Saddam was a buffer zone between the two powers but now has descended into chaos and brings the two countries closer to war.All these Middle Eastern wars are backed by one side or the other and the interference from the West and Russia has knock on effects for the whole region.

The video is good but doesn’t go into enough detail about what the West did to Iraq. The sanctions alone destroyed an entire nation of Iraq. These two videos were made in 2015 and a lot more has happened since then but it gives a better understanding of our involvement.

tbh we should have no involvement whatsoever with the Middle East, whatever we do won't stop someone from killing someone else over there, they'll just keep doing it until they "grow up" tbh.
