Jonny's dialogue to Courtney at the end

Was very nice. Does anyone have the exact quote?

We do live in world where young straight males feel more comfortable being around gay men but it's a slight problem with older people.

We are seeing these friendships play out to 2 million people. I think it's educational for viewers. And I don't know much about the LGBT community other than what I read here and Social media, but he is a fantastic spokespersons for the community.

I've seen hundreds of tweets from men tonight about how much they love the relationship.

who'd have thought that in 2018 BB would still be doing this.

I thought what Cortney said was interesting, how he wasn't sure how his time with the straight guys was going to go down. There's a lot of dicks in the world but also a lot of support for LGBTs in the hetrosexual community. It's sometimes more surprising for us than them.

It's never really been an issue though imo ive allways got on with straight guys and bb from day dot back in 2000 were allways accepting of everyone....just look at Brian and bubble in bb2.

It's only recently really bb has become so pc to adjust to the people pretending to be offended on the outside and inside the house that bb had to dish out warnings left, right and centre.

this I s why I'm loving this series it's not a new concept but has gone backwards to a time when anything went aka the early 2000's.

Shane/Courtney is a very level headed person....he is very articulate and puts a point across very well. He is very mature...I just love him.

Shane's bond with the 'lads' (particularly Andrew...God I'd love for them to have a random showmance) is starting to become one of my favourite things about this series.

I'm still pondering this, but I don't think it even has to necessarily be about men being comfortable around gay men. I think it's more that men can have fun with other men and they prefer people they kinda play around with, take things less seriously with and have fun with (shoot the sh*t). And obviously men love a perverted/twisted sense of humor ... this isn't something typically done with girls because it would be considered offensive in our society.

We have a group of male friends come over every other week or so and it took them a while for them to relax around me to the point they can say the more cruder things men talk about. Women don't generally receive this well if they're a party to this, so actually, if India is being treated like a totally different species, then she's fitting in with the female stereotype perfectly. It doesn't have to mean she is neurotic or she is not attractive... I don't think that most men and women flirt with each other, I would think that men would be more concerned about coming off like a sleaze... whereas men are more comfortable being total sleazeballs towards each other all the time (in play)

So it could be that Shane is considered one of the guys (as evidenced by the dialogue of him fitting with "the lads") and actually... India is being complimented here, because it means her gender identity is being taken more seriously than she gives them credit for.

This is the problem with looking for oppression/offense underneath every rock. Not everything is meant to be a slight. And sometimes it's actually a consideration.

But yes it is lovely to see this dynamic play out (to India's annoyance). I think it's always nice, seeing people getting along in BB and not every moment taken so seriously and being drama-fueled. But some people think drama is the only place "real things" are happening... as seems the case with India.
