yes but only if they're actually in a separate room and not like BB11 where there's just a glass wall because that made it kinda pointless tbh

I've never understood why Channel 5 never did this considering how many twists C4 used to pull off thanks to the entrance being hidden from the view of the housemates once the door was closed.

It wouldn't be the same on C5 though as they got rid of the tension music and the robotic BB voice. They always seem to rush the housemate out of the house nowadays, so a closed-off staircase would be wasted on C5 as they'd probably just open the doors straight away, meaning we won't see the housemate standing at the top of the stairs, while BB tells the house to close the front door.

ugh I remember back in BB17 when they started using the tension music when people were leaving again but then they randomly stopped in CBB18 and never used it after </3

Ahhh when the rest of the house would put their ears against the door to hear the reception of the evicted housemates. They don't even need to do that anymore.

If they're going old school they'd be no stairs. With the crowd now being next to non-existant I'd go for a different approach - a simple "front of the house" and a small studio based eviction audience. Perhaps even repurpose The Other House as the studio as I think that space is bigger, and heck maybe the Other House Garden might become the new walkway into the house. The current eviction set could then become a rather amazing task arena.

second, i agree. a proper change to how the house used to be would be nice. they could tbh incorporate similar rooms they've done in the past, like a house jumbled up rooms from the past?

If they know it's going to be the last series, trying to recreate some of the room designs from over the last 18 years would be amazing :love:

Once someone else runs up the stairs and out the doors after an evictee, then they can close off the stairs
