Who is the best politician in the UK?

For me, it's a no brainer.

She's SMART!
She's COMPASSIONATE!
She's a FREEDOM FIGHTER!
She's a FEMINIST!
She's WITTY!
She's a STYLE ICON!
She LOVES THE GAYS!

It's got to be the Official Queen of Scots, Miss Nikki Sturgeon!

Obviously Daddy (Jesus' second coming) Corbyn.

Both operate in Scotland

I have 3 of those in leading their party positions.

First would be Nicola Sturgeon,I think she is truly formidable.

Next Caroline Lucas,the Green party.

Next Ruth Davidson, although not a total party leader,I think Ruth would be a strong Con leader UK wide.

Of the 3 main party leaders,I'd stick with Corbyn.
I've never liked or trusted May,since I got interested in politics and came across her.
Vince Cable for me is a total waste of space.

The person however I most admire in politics would be Andy Burnham.
Who was always my choice to be Labour leader.

big distrust in all MPs - maybe its age - the old ones say - they are all the same - I think its true. age is wisdom.

bitontheslide 19-02-2018 07:43 AM

I don't rate any of the current politicians

Marches 19-02-2018 07:45 AM

All British politicians are either super annoying and pandering u can tell they don’t buy into half of the **** they spout or their opinions are too obtuse and conservative

Where are the people that go out and see the world and tell the truth? :(

jaxie 19-02-2018 07:54 AM

Hero worshipping politicians is just weird.

waterhog 19-02-2018 08:06 AM

no politician represents how society should be run so with this statement in mind - none are the best.

I agree unless it's our Nic

Oliver_W 19-02-2018 08:32 AM

Ruth Davidson is pretty much the best party leader in the UK.

...I guess Jaxie, it’s not so weird if any were worthy of it because ‘heroes’ are not a bad thing to have as such...but do we have any of those worthies, I don’t think so, I can’t think of any myself atm...

Jamie89 19-02-2018 10:55 AM

Diane Abbott for comedy value. Non comedy politicians... I'm not sure

What happened to poor old Jeremy? Is it that pesky penis? :joker:

smudgie 19-02-2018 01:41 PM

I really think the best ones are the ones still on their way up, before they become either jaded or bogged down, or worse still, power hungry.

Dear me, since I mentioned mansplaining you have dragged every exchange back to gender do you realise that?... :/

I would have thought my admiration for Mr Corbyn was obvious.
