Right i have been here nearly nine years...in the past ive been accused of trolling and the likes...

Still here though....however!

I am a bit suspicious of people being banned parmniontly but managing to make another account or people managing to make accounts for off season or on season.....


Whats folks views on this?

when you think of it, it probably isnt that hard to do..what would you need? An ip blocker or something..

I don't think staff mind any more, permabanned members are alive and kicking :laugh:

Generally members don’t get indefinite/perm bans anymore, despite the fact some members defintely deserve it :idc: so the multi problem isn’t really an issue imo, and if someone has made a multi of a previously banned account...guess the admin are worried about the number of members we have as apposed to the quality of members :hee:

Unless you’re Salman I get the impression you’re fair game to come back.

I don't mind permabanned members coming back, as long as they're open and honest about it rather than pretending they're a brand new member called Brian or something. And I've said this before but if the actions that led to their ban personally affected another member then the first thing they should do is apologise. Just my two cents.

Quality of members - who makes that decision those that believe themselves to be a ‘quality member’. :hehe: Besides people have often been banned unfairly - so unless people know their facts, to make such sweeping statements is based on pure ignorance.

Well, generally, the members who get banned are worse than those who dont. That's more logical than ignorant I'm afraid.

Tbh, although there should be some definite rule, like '6 months before your multi', if the multi is still a twat, they'd get banned all over again so its not much of an issue to me.

Not enough banning in a certain section of the forum IMO.

The biggest trolls are the ones who are never actually called/accused of trolling.

If you're going to allow them back on the forum, why not just let them, why have a multi?

Well Kirk isn't back unfortunately, his style would be spotted right away. I miss him, and I even miss The Truth. This forum has a way of killing off the characters.

NO it isn’t - their politics and who they ‘befriend’ has a considerable part to play. If what you say were true why are you still here given your constant baiting.

It never ceases to amaze me how some of the biggest baiters on here are the same ones who get all holier than thou about banned members. Never quite sure if it is pure cockiness or such people are so completely lacking in self-awareness they simply cannot see the wood for the trees.
