Mathew Wrights quits the Wright Stuff after 18 years

Matthew Wright has announced that he is quitting The Wright Stuff as host after nearly two decades.

The former tabloid journalist has presented the Channel 5 chat show since 2000, but will be stepping down to try "something new".

"After almost 18 glorious years on Channel 5 and with the show flying high in the ratings, I feel it's time to depart and try my hand at something new," Wright said.

The Show changed as they moved Production Companies
Now at Grays In Road ITN studio.

Many days it started on Ch5HD
with a spec of Dust or something on the same Hi Def camera
Still there today.

It could be due to the Scottish girl Storm Huntley
her New ipad and facebook updates
she changed the show, slowed it down

Matt kept taking longer time off
even at the other Production company

He moans about his bad back

He said this morning he will leave end of June
or early July.

He has had enough of getting up at 3AM
for 18 years.
