I'm so ancient I remember it clearly. I was 11... Jesus. Great series though!

This tbh.

Narinder, Helen and Paul were the only stand-outs from that series...

A great series.
I joined after just before bb3 which was probably my favourite

Marsh. 25-10-2018 09:46 PM

Wasn't a bad series at all. :umm2:

It's simply from 2001, when the show and times were very different.

I suppose it was a quiet series, but I enjoyed it at the time.

That teacher going full frontal and flirting with Paul made the front pages. The tabloids were running 4 pages a day. Radio 1 news bulletins carried BB news. To this day Stuart Hosking maintains he was briefly the "most famous man in Britain", probably

Brian aside, very ordinary cast I thought. Not in a bad way, but it was just a bunch of strangers living together back then

Were evictions still low key at this point? Adele got great boos in BB3, but they seemed to just slip out of a side door in BB1 and cross a little bridge

Marsh. 26-10-2018 01:35 AM

Lowkey. But the crowds were like a mile long.

Felt more of an event than nowadays with all the screens, lights and music.

I've only watched a bit of BB2 but it seemed okay to me, not groundbreaking by any means but it was watchable which was something that the current BB series certainly wasn't.
