I always thought if Ash had gone in week 3 rather than Toya, the series would have got much better. After the Helen and Matthew Row, there was a Strong Divide that would have likely continued.

Didn't think it at the time but i now think it was all an act. Playing the Victim role and making the Public feel sorry for her.
