He is also avoiding our PM T. May.

[G7 summit: Isolated Trump to face confrontation from America's closest allies
The summit has already been dubbed the "G6 plus one" due to Donald Trump's isolation over trade and other world issues.]

[French president Emmanuel Macron, who describes Mr Trump as a "friend", has taken a more confrontational approach ahead of the summit.]

sometimes to effect real change you must zig while the others zag

Sounds rather petty. The USA is one of the big players, so to leave them out because its leaders has said mean things is like hewing off your nose to upset your face.

It's not really that simple though; it's mainly for the discussion of trade and Trump has made it clear that his policies are going to be increasingly isolationist and he doesn't really want to trade with anyone more than absolutely necessary. What is there to discuss?

Trump is now at the White House Garden

And on top of that the tariffs affect many countries whos troops are currently fighting alongside American troops in conflict throughout the globe, so Donnies done a bit more than said a few mean things.

I don't blame anyone for not wanting to get involved in Trump, he's a mayfly that will drag anyone associated down with him. His politics are directed by his sociopathic narcissism and he's dragging the US back decades.

Mokka 09-06-2018 03:31 PM

"Please tell Prime Minister Trudeau and President Macron that they are charging the US massive tariffs and create a non-monetary barriers. The EU trade surplus with the US is $151bn, and Canada keeps a farmers and others out. Look forward to seeing them tomorrow."

Urgh... the grammar makes me shudder... how do we even know wtf he is saying?? Maybe he's not against trade but just can't manage linguistics so he's misunderstood

nobody can mess about with rules and regulations better than the EU and Trump is going to find this out soon enough

GiRTh 10-06-2018 11:27 AM

Agree. Trump thought he'd say jump and they'd say how high.

And the people who are affected most by the tariffs are the people who voted for Trump.

Child. Apparently he refused to sign just due to Trudeau remarks and not much else. Love it if he's lying and signed it all along. At this stage I don't believe a word Donnie says. How can anyone believe what he says:shrug:
