I'm guessing that '95' isn't referring to your birth year, then

Aaliyah, Selena, MJ, Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes, Prince, Amy Winehouse, 2Pac, Avicii, The Notorious B.I.G., Whitney.

I wanted to kill myself when Kurt Cobain died. I was a mad fan... and a young teenager. Lately the ones that have had the most impact on me was David Bowie and George Michael. George Michael's Ladies & Gentlemen is my most played album on iTunes, it's always on it my car.

It was before I was born, but Buddy Holly's hurts the most. Just 22 years of age, we missed out on so much great music.

As it says in the song "American Pie" "The day the music died"

Nicky91 21-06-2018 01:27 PM

Prince, Amy Winehouse, George Michael

and it might sound crazy especially since Selena was before my time, but ever since i heard dreaming of you and reading about her life story, the way how she was murdered it still makes me cry, she had such a sweet angelic voice

What does me being born a year after his death have to do with anything?

I like listening to Nirvana

I was born in 1980 and a massive Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin fan who were waaaay before my time. Having great taste in music transcends age...

Actually the lyrics in American Pie always choke me when I hear it. Perticular the ones I've highlighted.

A long long time ago
I can still remember how
That music used to make me smile
And I knew if I had my chance
That I could make those people dance
And maybe they'd be happy for a while
But February made me shiver
With every paper I'd deliver
Bad news on the doorstep
I couldn't take one more step
I can't remember if I cried
When I read about his widowed bride

Something touched me deep inside
The day the music died

bitontheslide 21-06-2018 01:35 PM

Keith Emerson, John Wetton, Chris Squire, Dan Fogelberg, Prince
