- In an ideal world BB will stay at Channel 5 but "the thing that will change is the steps in the right direction to bring Big Brother back to what it was. And I know it can be done, it's not hard, it's really not hard.”

- "This year, more so than ever, what I do know that's going on, is you will get old Big Brother back I think."

- "I think January was a step in the right direction but we've still got to leap further I think. I think it's safe to say there will be a lot of changes this year, definitely, that I think you will love and I mean love."

- "The main show will change, there will be changes to the main show, there always is. But I do think it's time that BOTS was looked at, and what we do best we carry on doing and what we could do better we bring in."

-"I offered to do Live Feed myself, I said 'How many people does it take?' I genuinely think in this day and age it can be done. The thing that's changed is not the fact of the technology, it's the legalities now. The law's changed. All I'm gonna say is, if it's going to happen, it won't be long before it happens. I am the biggest supporter of live feed."

For all the stick he still gets (Rylan hate? In 2018? Right in front of my salad?), I love how passionate a fangirl he is of this show

It seems so mad for them to be saying all this now, especially Live Feed. I suspect it may be a case of too little too late. Even if they pull out the perfect series this year, it’s going to take a little while for interest to build again from the viewers that deserted it. Frow is going to be seeing this series as something that should fix all the problems right away and I don’t think that’s realistic.

I agree MB, as much flak as Rylan gets; I love how much of a super-fan of the show he is.

Yeah but i swear they say similar things each year and it is never like the old big brother and i think they will try hard to make it like love island with a crappy cast

I've always liked Rylan, I love how candid he's being about the show's need for improvement. :clap1:

This does all sound really positive and kinda ties in with what Jack_ was saying. I really hope that this series is worth the wait.

Also if they’re going to try and emulate the January series just gone then they need to get some INCREDIBLE housemates. I mean I loved the last celeb series but it was a bit slow in terms of pacing for a summer run (or whichever ****ing season it ends up airing in.)

This pretty much. I didn't buy into it the first time and haven't since.

Could they not just air Live Feed on YouTube?

Everyone slates him but he cares so much about the show. Probably more than Emma at this stage.

I do appreciate his optimism but the shows been going downhill for a number of series now both in quality and ratings.

17/18 were above 14/15/16 in terms of quality though
