USA: Groundsman with terminal cancer wins $289m from weed killer maker
 

[A jury in San Francisco told agribusiness
giant Monsanto it must pay $250m in punitive damages and $39m
in compensatory damages after the firm lost a legal case.
The court was told Dewayne Johnson
has a terminal form of non-Hodgkin lymphoma
which he claims he caught after working
as a pest control manager at a school.]


Giant company Monsanto (Bayer) is fighting this
as loads of other Americans also have a cancer (they claim)
from using Round Up weed killer.

this is going to be like me trying to spend my last £100 travel money in vietnam before my flight in the evening.

Roundup has been questionable for years. I know nothing about gardening or weedkiller, but I know Roundup messes with your immune system.
