The series to end on Monday 10th?

BREAKING: It looks like Celebrity Big Brother will end on Monday the 10th of September and the 'Original Social Experiment' #BBUK will return to an 'all new look house' in the same week, just days after the #CBB Final!

So this series of #CBB will be 25 days long - the same length as last summer, meaning just over 2 weeks left! #BBUK is likely to launch in 3 weeks on Thursday / Friday the 13th / 14th! Apparently it will have a whole new feel to it.

Captain.Remy 24-08-2018 10:52 AM

Yesssss! I guess a friday launch for BB19 then, so they can have time to clean and redecorate.

Well sed. :D

LOL, so they've basically given up on this CBB.
No new housemates then, too.

But excited for civilian BB though. At least it is something new to have it start in autumn.
Hope they make it 10 weeks until the end of november, beginning of december.

supertv247 24-08-2018 03:50 PM

That was from me. This is confirmed in C5's scheduling for the week - they talk about new Big Brother going back to its social experiment roots with housemates from all around the country, but don't give an exact date. Meanwhile, they don't mention cbb at all but Sunday is a regular show which suggests Monday is the final, then a few days break, then the bbuk launch will be Thursday or Friday!

On Natalie's IG, whoever is managing her account said she will be available as from September 14th for shows and appearances. So I guess it ends either monday or later that week.

I am pretty certain it will be under 8 weeks as IAC usually starts mid November-ish and they would not want to be facing it.

My assumption:

Monday 10th September is CBB final.

Thursday 13th September is BB19 launch which will run for 8 weeks 1 day.... until Friday 9th November.

IAC launches Sunday 11th November.

8 weeks is so dire :skull: Make it 14 weeks again.

It's never been 14 weeks. 7-10 were 13 weeks

Can't believe this series we're only getting 5 crowd evictions. That hasn't happened since CBB14 and they've stretched series out more than that ever since when they had 8 whole scheduled (including 1 cancelled) CBB15 evictions. This series will probably feel a lot shorter than the recent ones

They were a little bit over 13 weeks so I took 14 weeks. But yes 13 weeks if you need to be precise.

In France we had series between 12 to 15, and those were my favorites because we really got to know the people and their personality coming through and living different experiences. I miss having the full BB experiment.
Now, they are all used to reality tv, they get in and it ends when we get to the real stuff.

Macie Lightfoot 24-08-2018 05:12 PM

I'm perfectly fine with 8 weeks  10-11 is the limit, like imagine if a series like BB13 went on for longer and we had to do a month without Deana

Tozzie 24-08-2018 05:19 PM

awwww, it could have waited till I got back from my holidays, I'll be abroad for the final dammit :fist:
