Rylan struggling to stay nuetrul over what happened

y.winter 01-09-2018 09:12 AM

I don't understand what people want from Rylan and Emma, always ganging up on them on Twitter. They're not the housemates for goodness sake...

You can see quite clearly the everyone is on Ryan's side, so what do people get so upset about. :bored:

poppsywoppsy 01-09-2018 09:24 AM

I felt that every time something really relevant came up or it was spoken about the lies both Rylan and Emma would shut it down.

They would speak about the whole situation but not specifics, therefore making it not as serious as it was.

It became infuriating.

Both Rylan & Emma have their own agenda's and kept acting like they're neutral and they always tip toed around the issue but never aired their views unless it's certain topics they're passionate about , and imo that makes them messy & inconsistent  .

It's one thing to stay neutral but they both go back and forth when it comes to giving their opinions and then going back to being impartial! .

For example i bet you anything Jermaine will get a grilling , whereas Roxy WOULDN'T of . Emma even looked too scared & speechless to interview Natalie .

Lmao it’s funny because even tho Jermaine is far far worse than Natalie, roxy is far far worse than him. It’s like they keep trying to 1up eachother, and I’m honestly shocked at the lengths Emma and Rylan would’ve gone to stay impartial when the former has dug into many housemates before

That's my point either they STAY IMPARTIAL or they SHOULD GIVE THEIR OPINION! why is that so hard for them :conf:  .

But the constant flip flopping is tiresome. It also felt like production told Emma to shut up about Roxanne on BOTS , she behaved like her lips had to stay sealed . But if that's the case then why did she openly say Jermaine can "F OFF" for his excuse of banter , so i'm not convinced :suspect: .Surely they're allowed to give their opinions? .

He and Emma are paid to remain as neutral as possible.

Do people want them to risk their jobs by jumping on the bandwagon?

Maybe it’s just bb had no idea how it’d come off and the pr they’d get from it so they didn’t want it to look like Emma was victim shaming. If they do that they kinda win either way because roxys actions were damming enough on their own (tho I wish they would’ve told him stuff in the diary room or shown the video to the house because I can’t imagine how awful he must’ve felt/feels). I feel like if production didn’t have a say Emma would’ve been screaming on bots and on bens interview :joker:

The point is they DON'T always stay neutral that's why they're messy at times

It’s more just hypocrisy and inconsistency people are mad at because Emma has stated her opinion and gave tough interviews with her opinion on multiple housemates before

Damned if you do and damned if you don't.

Emma may have given Roxanne a stern interview but we may never know now.

As above she hasn't and now won't be conducting an interview so none of us know how it would have gone.

Emma clearly would of been on eggshells in the interview with Roxanne, let's be honest .
She even said on BOTS how something must of happened to Rox in her life to react that way :bored: . So I'm pretty sure Emma would if treated her like fragile glass and it would of been the most UNSATISFYING interview ever ! .

poppsywoppsy 01-09-2018 10:03 AM

I get tired on this neutral stance.

However, I feel both Rylan and Emma would bend over backwards defending Gay housemates in whatever situation, good or bad. It is immediately shut down by them which is annoying as it should be a level playing field.

This is opposed to sitting on the fence at almost every other opportunity. It does not lend itself to good viewing either.

Rylan does ask for both points of view from the audience which is fine.

Unsafisfying interview with Emma kissing her ass matched with the crowds screaming :joker: ugh the eviction we didn’t deserve

That's why they annoy me as they won't stay consistent  .
I understand asking audience both sides as well.

And also Emma & Rylan bend over backwards if there's sexism against women . But then they sit back on the fence for other issues .

I'm actually glad we've been spared , or is there going to be some other interview?

Exactly this.

Of course they have thier own personal opinions on events but they have to remain professional and that means remaining neutral to things like this.

Emma even mentioned hetself on bots iirc that she hates when questioned about things like this because no matter her reply she gets into trouble.

This tbh. They are damned if they do and damned if they don't.

But she’s given her opinion multiple times on interviews and bots. It’s the inconsistency that annoys me. It’ll annoy me more if she goes in on Jermaine in his interview despite all this impartial stuff she preaches for the roxy Ryan situation
