LIVEWIRE 2019 // Applications OPEN
 

After a little over 5 years, I've decided to bring back LIVEWIRE in January in a different way.


This time, the game will work a lot like how the cancelled reality TV show "The Glass House" worked, with some minor modifications that include portions of the scoring system used by America's Next Top Model from Cycles 19-22, and currently used on Asia's Next Top Model since Cycle 4.

"This year, housemates are being voted on in a public poll to see who will play in the Power Challenge for the week. If a housemate gets the lowest score on the question relating to the 'worst strategy', they will face eviction. The housemate that loses the Power Challenge will be nominated, and then the remaining housemates will vote on the third person to face the public vote. In addition, some cycles will only have Power Challenges to decide the evictee. This series, the eviction process was different; as in addition to the public vote, there would be a jury of five, ranking the nominees on a scale from 5-10 (including .1-.9 decimals); with the public's scores being calculated based on proportional representation of the votes and the overall score for a particular nominee."

I am hoping that Diary Room entries will be in audio and/or video form as well as in text form. This is going to be a really crazy second series, especially with the game and format being changed.

And just so the same voting mishap from TiBB Eurovision 2018 doesn't happen again, the public vote in evictions will be at a 1 vote maximum instead of voting as many times as you want.

I am truly invested in making this revival of LIVEWIRE work, and because of how different this second series of the game will be; there will be a separate forum specifically for the game because I really do not want to clutter my TiBB inbox, especially with Christmasvision coming around the corner in December.

I get that other shows are on right now, but hey; why not keep the BB dream alive (as well as somewhat resurrecting Munchkins' game from years ago).
