They'd better take in and promote it during BGT and Love Island.

I am sure ITV would be promoting it so much more than Channel 5 :laugh:

promotion during BGT/Love Island is actually not that bad idea, given they have good viewer ratings

They were the obvious choice, right? I'm so glad this is in talks, hopefully they come through and deliver!

I actually think ITV would make it much more like the old days again, and I can tell you that they would give us over 40+ housemates :dance:

they probably already have ideas for BB/CBB, how they think they can save the show, and tbh Endemol should feel delighted now with this news


so yeah i would accept this offer, only for a bit of hopes that ITV shows interest in their show, while C5 had only been a huge letdown for them, even showing no effort at all, and with this weird and awful schedule now just wanting it to flop, while with ITV i think they will have a good schedule for this, they already do with BGT and Love Island

I remember a few months back there were odds posted here with a link to where on one of the betting sites they had a special bet on which channel would be airing Big Brother next year. There were only 3 or 4 choices and Channel 5 was not even one of them. The odds on favorite at a very strong 1 to 2 was ITV. The odds were only up for a few days and then mysteriously disappeared.

Someone knew this was going to happen.

If Love Island is a success on ITV why can’t Big Brother

i would love it, if that one former BGT contestant Eugene does BB then, he's a good comedian and also not that young, i think civilian BB then since he isn't good enough to be listed as celebrity for CBB

For that to work, I think CBB should be during Winter/Spring, and BB will be on Spring...

This is not ITV wanting Big Brother, it’s ITV wanting Endemol. It doesn’t mean they’ll have big brother on ITV or even recomission big brother anywehre in the future...

but hopefully it does. They bought the company that owns the voice, then nabbed the voice a year later :shrug:

Apparently All 3 Media, Banijay, Liberty Global are all Intrested

Would make it difficult for another broadcaster to get BB if ITV doesn't want it.

I think we can take it as something itv may want in the future

For BB to have a long term future, realistically it needs a rest of at least a couple of years.

ITV needs BB and then go brainstorming on ideas how to try and make it successful again

but of course they can Always just broadcast CBB, just for harmless fun and entertainment i guess
