BIG BROTHER : ABANDONED

Channel 5 axing Big Brother sparked an idea for a comeback series of the show in future years. Ideally the show would take a break of 2-5 years on TV and this comeback series would have a more creepy vibe to the show to keep housemates feeling on edge throughout their stay.

House Theme :
The house would be abandoned hotel themed house, making housemates feel on edge throughout their stay. There would be closed off stairs which lead you into the Big Brother Hotel lobby, the lobby is a closed off room that they enter the house in with doors which lead to the bedroom, dining room/kitchen and garden. The lobby will be very empty with nothing more than two armchairs, a reception desk, and an elevator door which holds a secret behind it. Through one of the doors you will find the hotel restaurant with lots of separate tables for more intimate chats with the housemates. The 'restaurant' also has a door into the hotel kitchen which is a very old fashioned kitchen which will challenge the housemates when coming to preparing meals. The garden is very simplistic and feels very run down, with many of the plants wilted which makes the housemates time in the house less comfortable. The garden also includes a door to the 'Staff Quarters' which is the living area, the living area feels very lived in and old fashioned with dim lighting.
