trailer looks quite good

Spoiler:

about the Georgiou character, how can she be alive when we saw her getting killed by the klingons early on, hmmmm it feels suspicious i don't trust her :suspect:

Scarlett. 07-10-2018 11:20 AM

Looks like S2 is where this show is gonna find its feet.

Oh, that reminds me, there's no midseason break this time :D

Nicky91 07-10-2018 11:22 AM

Rebecca Romijn is playing number one who was played in the Original series by Majel Barrett

:flutter:

Nicky91 07-10-2018 11:25 AM

Spoiler:

one possibly theory about Georgiou return, that this isn't the real Georgiou, but the same what happened to Ash Tyler in S1, with Voq, that another klingon is now in the body of Georgiou

Did you not watch the end of S1?
Spoiler:

It’s parallel universe Georgiou

That reminds me, this was a bonus scene after the end of S1, they were gonna put it in the post credits but it didn't gel with the ending

There's talks of Michelle Yeoh getting her own spin off series
https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/li...access-1160130

Not sure which version of the character she'd be playing though

How good is this show? I've never seen Star Trek - none of the shows or movies - is it good in its own context?

Scarlett. 14-01-2019 08:10 PM

4 days to go!

Ramsay 14-01-2019 08:50 PM

Very excited!!

Scarlett. 17-01-2019 11:45 AM

There's now 4 'Short Trek' episodes available under the "Trailers and More" option on Netflix

Oliver_W 17-01-2019 03:06 PM

I binged on ST:D after earlier post, and watched the Shorts as they were available in the USA. The Short with the dude on the AI ship is better than anything else in recent Star Trek tbh

I wonder why Discovery was adrift in the 33rd Century?

reece(: 17-01-2019 08:50 PM

Meech Yeoh guest starring on Saru's Short Trek

Who knows! It's too far in the future to matter for any extant Star Trek seasons, so we may never know, unless there's gonna be a Calypso Zero!

I wonder if we're gonna see some strange timey wimey stuff happen with the crew and the ship this season?

Hmm, I'm not sure, I'd rather Calypso be a standalone really. Thought the development of the "Holly" would be interesting to see!

Really enjoyed the first ep, the new titles were good and I love the much brighter and more hopeful tone
