Poor Brooke..

I really like her...and I can see why she's angry with the letters. Why should a woman with children get the emotional blackmail vote to win letters. I understand her injustice...she didn't get picked on the basis that she doesn't have them..just like Cian. It's equal rights these days. Sian and Zoe chose to go in the BB house so why should having children give them an advantage...

Denver 29-10-2018 11:58 PM

She decided not to have her letter so she has no right to cry

lewys 29-10-2018 11:59 PM

she was literally given 1000 big coins for free she should've bloody bidded

It's obvious what you are doing:shrug:

lewys 30-10-2018 12:10 AM

listen she KNEW sian would pick zoe and vice versa since they are mothers, AND that everyone else would pick those two, so if she wanted it that bad she should've bidded and said to zoe and sian i'm going to pick you two so they wouldn't have bidded either

She knew if she had bid and won she would have felt the pressure to choose the two with children as they bleated on about it...Zoe more than Sian but their children struck the emotional cord. Brooke would have wanted to pick Cameron and Cian..but she knew that would make her look heartless and she didn't want to be put in that situation hence her decision.
Tonight showed that...it played on her emotions. it wasn't fair and I felt for her.

LukeB 30-10-2018 12:12 AM

They all had the chance to get letters by bidding and Zoe told someone to outbid her so Brooke had an opportunity but didn't. Sian had to chose 3 people and she went with what she felt was the right thing to do.It's called being nice.No one was being blackmailed.

but if she wanted her letter that bad then she should've bidded even if it meant that someone else would have to lose it she would still get hers, it was the only way for her to guarantee it

It's that simple.

Want the letter outbid Zoe like she asked:laugh: and it would be easy for her to choose who to give it to

Of course Zoe gave her the opportunity...whether Zoe won it or not she knew the others knew her desire to get a letter from her child...so was 99% sure she would get picked no matter who won.
Of course it's seen as being 'nice' but the pressure would have been on her to pick Sian and Zoe because they have children but Brooke wanted to pick Cameron and Cian...and that would have made her feel bad. That's why she withdrew from the bidding.

I'm not being funny but it's attention seeking for votes

Well I know that...it's the choices that came with it that made it difficult..can't you see that?...that's why she didn't do it.

well then that's fine if she found it difficult, if she couldn't make the decision that's one thing, but in that moment there she decided choosing between her housemates was more important than her getting a letter, i don't mind her being sad for the rest of the night as i probably would be too, but her 24 hours later saying she wants to leave as there is nothing else left for her, she's the worst in there etc. is just attention seeking AND making those who did get their letters feel bad, if anyone is emotionally manipulating as you suggested it's brooke making the others feel guilty

...but it wasn't easy because she didn't want to pick Zoe and Sian..or at least not both of them and that would have made her feel bad because of the emotional sentimentality.

If Brooke WANTED that letter badly she wouldn't have withdrew from bidding:shrug: She would have felt bad anyway so what is your point. Can't have wanted it that much. Poor Brooke? what about Cian and Akeem..

lewys 30-10-2018 12:25 AM

she made the conscious choice of not possibly getting the letter and therefore she has to deal with the consequences

She wanted to pick Cian and Cameron..but the children aspect would have made her feel bad. In the end it wasn't worth it..so she withdrew.

Denver 30-10-2018 12:30 AM

Children come before parents so the point is invalid

She would have felt bad if she picked Zoe and Sian, they all would.. they had to choose 3 people leaving 3 without a letter and that is going to make them all feel guilty. She didn't want it that much

Adam in all the time she has been in the house she has rarely cried or got upset so I think she should be allowed be upset about this. As another poster said if she had outbid for the letters she would rather have picked Cameron definitely and maybe Cian then the two with a kid would have been sobbing. Brooke has never 'sought attention' she has been calm and re assuring for many of the housemates thus gaining three positive nominations. Most of the housemates have cried and hogged the limelite Brooke is allowed feel emotional

So did the others...but the mums with children give them the advantage of being more worthy of that letter...and it shouldn't..that's my point.
