we have All You Need is Love as a Christmas tradition on the telly, Doctor Love Robert Ten Brink reunites loved ones when they live separated from each other in another country, mostly Australia where he goes with the love bus and we also got http://www.noordkaapchallenge.com/im...us-request.png 3FM Serious Request, a charitable event each year around Christmas time, each year a different charity to donate money for, 3 DJ's lock themselves up, they don't eat, just drinking some sort of fruit/vegetable juices and they receive famous dutch celebrity guests who spend one night with them in the glass house and when they are allowed to go out of the house, we got performances from various musical guests, one time Snow Patrol had locked the DJ's up which was really nice to see :flutter: they also have these charity glass house events in denmark, Belgium and Norway, also around Christmas time :) |
I'm buying everyone puppies again this year.

Co-op responds to Xmas ad ennui by 'delaying' festive campaign and donating to good causes
The retailer is to launch its Christmas ads later than usual and donate savings to charity as research shows consumers are tiring of big-budget campaigns https://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2016...3840775201.jpg Co-op is to hand out nearly £19m to good causes, money it says it has partly recouped by not beginning its Christmas TV ad campaign until 1 December. The company's approach – which is entirely at odds with that of most retailers – is built on the back of research that found 86% of shoppers think brands spend too much on their festive campaigns and nearly two-thirds (61%) want to see marketing budgets scaled back in the run-up to Christmas. Co-op has said that, in response to its findings, it will hand out almost £19m to support 4,000 local communities and charities. https://www.campaignlive.co.uk/artic...causes/1497910 |
