Should David Beckham Be Knighted?

For his services to football and being a global ambassador for the sport? Geoff Hurst was giving one for one 120 minute performance.

Denver 04-11-2018 11:39 AM

No he is blacklisted

Kazanne 04-11-2018 11:39 AM

No.

Liam- 04-11-2018 11:44 AM

Yes

RileyH 04-11-2018 11:45 AM

Sure

Alf 04-11-2018 11:49 AM

What about Lewis Hamilton? A five time World Champion and Britain's greatest ever Formula 1 driver.

smudgie 04-11-2018 12:12 PM

Both should be on the Honours list, not so sure about a knighthood:shrug:

Eddie. 04-11-2018 12:21 PM

To David, I would say yes due to all of the things he contributed?

To Lewis, probably not...

Mitchell 04-11-2018 12:50 PM

LeatherTrumpet 04-11-2018 01:07 PM

and certainly not that odious Hamilton

Denver 04-11-2018 01:18 PM

Are they both not tax dodgers?

Kazanne 04-11-2018 01:20 PM

Doesn't he call America his home now ?

bitontheslide 04-11-2018 03:33 PM

He has been an ambassador for UK sport and done shed loads for charity. People have been given knighthoods for far less.

Marsh. 04-11-2018 04:47 PM

No.

"Brand Beckham" makes me sick and he's so desperate for a knighthood it's sickening.

Only going to get worse as the kids get older. Him and Victoria are an embarrassment! Their sham marriage only survives for he sake of the brand, which with each passing year less people are buying.

If his kids were disabled, would it make a difference to you?

I say that because you had a go at me the other night for having a go at Zoe and you tried to win the argument by claiming I should!'t have a go at her because her child is disabled. So now I'm gonna say that you shouldn't have a go at the Beckham's because their children are not disabled, shame on you.

Brother Leon 04-11-2018 07:00 PM

Yes.

Matthew. 04-11-2018 07:01 PM

no but i don’t watch football so my opinion probably isn’t as valid as someone who does watch it

Well no I didn't "have a go" at you for criticising Zoe because her child is disabled, did I? So that's either you being dense or purposely ignoring what was actually said.

I commented because you were slagging her off for being technically "unemployed" to which you mocked her as "slobbing about watching Jeremy Kyle" instead of actually being a carer for her disabled child.

What that has to do with David and Victoria selling their children for publicity I have no idea.

You probably know that but just thought you'd feign ignorance out of boredom and need for an argument.

Have a nice evening.

But you're so good to argue with, I can't resist. I see it as a great challenge to try to get the last word in against you, you're a tough nut to crack.
