A kitten

I'm getting very, very drunk.

Maybe a dvd boxset of some British sitcom, usually a bottle of something probably Glenfiddich, I expect a book and new slippers will be in there somewhere. But I'm not fussed if I don't get anything as long as I've got good food and drink then I'll be happy.

I don't want anything, I don't really get behind the idea that I tell someone what I want, then they wrap it and I have to act surprised and delighted what is all that about. Mr C and I never exchange presents at Christmas apart from a silly gift with a 10.00 limit

:nono:

Last year I requested a Roberts STREAM 93i | Internet/DAB/FM Radio which i was very much looking forward to and have used it every day and still love it.

Its imperative to give clear advice on what you want as a gift and then get that if it is reasonably within budget. Getting folk presents on a whim leads to all the crap that litters auctions in Jan and Feb

I get the children what they want with no surprises and the same with the TL

Ant is getting me an Armani watch and an adult colouring book.

Me and Gav are going to treat ourselves to a new TV, one of the curved ones, we'll get eachother a few small things to open though

But if I want something I just go and buy it myself... why wait until Christmas and waste half a tree wrapping something you know you are getting? She could have got that for you in November and you would have had the use of it a month earlier :hee:

Because wanting something that is nice is not the same as needing something. I would not have gone and spent nearly 200 sovs on a radio but i did want the radio. That is the idea. Like the TV, we have a perfectly good TV but we dont have a curved 4k HDR one with a soundbar

etc

I never thought I would spend that kind of money on a tv, we went in thinking we would spend about 700, but ended up spending 1500 quid but it is pretty amazing and when we replace the one in the back room that is what we will get

I think presents should be banned for adults at Christmas apart from silly stuff that makes you laugh, like naked card games :hehe:

Not a clue.
Apparently I am very difficult to buy for.:fist:

Maybe some art work. Quite a few prints I have my eye on.
