Favourite Generation of Skins?

Torn between 1 and 2 tbh. I feel like 1 has better characters but 2 has better storylines and i usually switch between Cook and Tony over who's my fav character of the entire show.

Unlike Many, I enjoyed 3 and think it's underrated

Gen 1.

Gen 2 was also really good and is a close one.

Gen 3 is rubbish

1, the seasons/characters got progressively worse after 3

Only enjoyed series 1 and 2, so the first gen. 2nd gen looked way too angsty and boring (the two main males weren't at all engaging and it just felt like a drawn-out love triangle) and the few glimpses I caught of the 3rd gen were laughable.

Sketch, Jal, Chris, Anwar, Michelle, Posh Kenneth & Cassie

gen 2  effy is one of my fav characters from a series ever

Gen 1, no contest.

Controversial opinion but I'm not sure if Gen 3 was worse than gen 2. Pretty much all of season 4 is melodramatic and depressing af and season 3 had some very questionable episodes and concepts (who remembers Freddie's sister being on a talent show? :skull:)

Although Gen 3 had some shocking eposodes some of gen 3s episodes were actually really good.

All this said I have a special place in my heart for Skins. It wasn't your typical shallow teen drama and explored issues you wouldn't see elsewhere and weren't afraid of being conceptual here and there.

Also, Sid was always the best character.

2, I started watching from S3 so I think I’ll always have a soft spot for them, also Emily and Naomi is the best storyline in the whole franchise

Gen 3 were kind of diabolical but in fairness I think S6 was lowkey great, an underrated series

Was rubbish after the 1st lot

armand.kay 20-11-2018 02:21 PM

the first one is miles better than the other 2. Gen 2 is good but a bit of a mess and Gen 3 is just the worst thing I ever put myself through
