Anyone else feel like they’re in a constant state of poor health this time of year?

Literally can’t remember a time at the moment where something wasn’t wrong with me.

Cherie 05-12-2018 12:30 PM

No, but it can happen you get a cold, then something else, then the cold comes back, your immune system might need a boost and get some rest :nono:

Cal. 05-12-2018 12:36 PM

I’ve been sleeping for like 10 hours at a time Cherie or getting no sleep at all :(

My mam thinks I’m aneamic again

Could be, because tiredness is part of that, go and get a blood test to check

Niamh. 05-12-2018 01:00 PM

Yeah agree with Cherie Cal, get a blood test. You might need to be put on Iron or get some vitamins

Yep I have a constant cold since the back end of October it goes for a day or two and hops straight back

Normally yes, but I've been unusually well for Nov/Dec

Shaun 05-12-2018 03:11 PM

I usually get a cold just before Christmas but this year I managed to get it over & done with pretty quickly. Hope you get well soon Cal, and agree with Cherie & Niamh - get it checked

You could also be low in vit D as that makes you feel very low , just getting up stairs is an effort when its low and you ache, i have to take it forever as when tested mine was so low it was dangerous.

hmmm probably the clap

Cal. 05-12-2018 04:11 PM

Thank you everybody for your wonderful advice.

I’m booking an appointment with my GP to get some blood tests done to check for my anaemia.

Wishing you all a very healthy Christmas!

LeatherTrumpet 05-12-2018 04:12 PM

Nope

Ant. 05-12-2018 04:14 PM

If it's any consolation, I've overslept through my alarm this entire week :( we just gotta hold out a couple months

I hope your GP appointment goes well! I hope they find the cause x

Mental Health wise for sure. These months coming up used to be the dark times. Physically not so much though.
