It has the potential to be great, the industry has needed to have someone else other than Bethesda making these kinds of games for a while, hopefully the competition will push Bethesda a bit.

Also, great move by Xbox, letting Obsidian put the game PS4

Serious soft spot for Obsidian so I am HYPED

so basically it's on a different planet, sort of colonies

somehow i find this besides fallout vibe also a bit of The 100 vibe this colony on another planet situation

overall it excites me a lot

Hmmmmmmmmmmm the engine looks very dated if we're being totally honest here. And I don't even mean "a few years" - I mean "2008 Fallout 3" dated. Deciding factors on this one are going to be the quality of the storyline, and whether or not it has other innovative gameplay features. Being honest if it's just a standard RPG+Shooter with a mediocre story, it's going to struggle.

Some of those animations are ... well they're something, guys.

I think the more important part is its a choice heavy game, like Fallout New Vegas

Idk what all that “AAA” stuff means but i read that this is only “AA” so does that mean it doesn’t have a massive budget/we should lower our expectations

So, there's a game coming out on PS4 next week called Outer Wilds dont get it mixed up with Outer Worlds, not that wilds is bad, its just not Worlds, lol

That's just what they're calling Outer Worlds in Boston.
