Dame Darcey exclusively revealed to us who she wants to see on Strictly someday

Strictly Come Dancing judge Dame Darcey Bussell may be accustomed to sitting behind the judges’ desk, offering critiques and waving a panel about when it comes to the BBC reality show, but that doesn’t mean she hasn’t thought about taking part too.

Darcey dropped by Strictly spin-off It Takes Two today (December 6) to chat to Zoe Ball about the upcoming semi-final and how well all the celebrities are doing, but she also answered a number of viewers’ questions.

And the first question to come Darcey’s way was a doozy, as the viewer asked which celebrity Darcey would like to perform with if she was on the show as a professional dancer.

"Well, I met an actor recently," Darcey told Zoe. "He was rather large and athletic-like, and would probably be a good partner for you because we’re tall ladies, and his name was Jason Momoa. Aquaman."

"Oh I know Jason Momoa," Zoe replied. "Oh yeah, Aquaman. Get him booked, someone!"

"He trains like six hours a day, he’s hardcore," Darcey continued. "But, you know, what an athlete – to have him!"

Sadly, we’re not sure Jason Momoa will ever appear on Strictly Come Dancing (but then again, we thought that about Alfonso Ribeiro too, and he popped up earlier this series) but you can always catch him in Aquaman when the film is released in UK cinemas on December 12 and US cinemas on December 21.


I'd love it if Jason will ever do Strictly, i think he would be great at the lifts with all of his muscle strength, and i think he can pull off some hot steamy samba's and salsa's not to forget the rumba :drool: :drool:

I still think of him as Ronan from Stargate Atlantis.:joker:

But yeah it would be good to have him on Strictly.

But first we need Nick Knowles and the entire line-up of Biffy Clyro for the next series.

I'd rather Bussell off the show myself.

Certainly the show doesn't need any more celebrities she would be biased towards.
Just my view but I think Darcey is an awful judge.

Anyway, this guy probably couldn't do worse than others who have been on.
