1. Pantsgate
2. Punchgate (not the ep of the actual incident, the one where Rox is exposed and walks)
3. David's dead

:p

Greg! 21-12-2018 10:27 PM

What day in CBB9 does pantsgate happen I want to watch ha

Daniel. 21-12-2018 10:34 PM

I mean the Saturday show

armand.kay 21-12-2018 11:12 PM

punchgate is more of a saga than an actual episode though... although the episode where Roxy tells the boys is probably one of my favourite things ever sdlfkfnvsfkd

brat. 21-12-2018 11:43 PM

y'all seriously saying adulter is better than punchgate? roxeh did not produce an entire saga whilst give up ha entire career for you to say kim woodburn snapping was better, adulterer is so overrated

one argument which was only funny (funny subjectively) from one side, roxeh gave drama, roxeh brought tears, roxeh moved the nation! deserves an NTA

It was compelling, I couldn't take my eyes off it and I was constantly looking for updates to follow it - but there was no enjoy, net from the episode and it was all quite painful to watch so I can't say I enjoyed it nor was the best episode.

The best episode has to give positive enjoyment of some sort, this gave none. If it was a fictional event and happened in a Soap or drama, it would be the best episode by far but there's something about this that makes watching Ryan's career potentially destroyed by someone's actions, and Roxanne ruining her career in just a matter of words extremely uncomfortable.

I don't get why people say there was no enjoyment? Wasn't the moment when Ryan realised he was in the right, and he was so happy whilst Roxanne left like a moment of joy to watch? I loved Roxeh but even I smiled and felt happy when Ryan start crying when he heard the crowds

ALSO people saying it's not funny? That moment when Roxeh walks out and sees Ryan explaining the story, I haven't laughed that hard in so long. I would get the uncomfortableness punchgate would have if it happened for a week whilst we all knew it wasn't true but the house didn't, but when the episode aired you knew by the end Ryan would know the truth

Yes of course seeing Ryan's realisation and Roxanne leaving wasa moment of joy but the fact that happened in the first place certainly wasn't.

brat. 22-12-2018 12:03 AM

armand.kay 22-12-2018 12:26 AM

adulterer was a hoot and made for a cute lil meme for the fbook girls but it really just doesn't have the range that roxeh brought to the table

reece(: 22-12-2018 12:37 AM

Adulterer was leaps and bounds better

ah just thought kim was so overrated, we have had way better CBB housemates, the only part that was that funny was ha striding over with the cup as she screams adulterer but the rest of the argument was just ok

Except "adulterer!" has just become what defined her. She gave us an ENTIRE SERIES (bar the first few days). Roxanne being despicable for a day or 2 does not compare! :nono:

but we said best episode not best series :suspect:

brat. 22-12-2018 01:58 AM

roxeh fit a storyline worth a movie trilogy into 40 mins where as miss kim only managed an argument

brat. 22-12-2018 01:59 AM

i can get why people prefer kim since she was prominent for an entire series, but if we are talking about the best episode, roxeh's best episode > kim's best episode

You said Roxy provided a "saga".

Kim provided a "series".

a saga... in one episode

David's dead was the best, because it had humour despite being about a sad loss.

And it just had a perfect set-up with Angie in the house at the time of her ex's passing, choosing to pick Tiffany to tell, and David Gest lying under the bedclothes ill. All the elements fell into place to create a totally bizarre scene.

Enjoy again:

It was nowhere near the most hilarious. As much as I adored her downfall, Sally’s drag of her, Roxanne manurisms and Emma’s interview (that’s quite worrying tho Roxanne :/). There have been way funnier moments in Cbb, and I’d probably say my personal favourite in that regard is Gemma Collins refusal to do tasks. With that said, punchgate is probably the best saga reality tv has EVER seen.

People saying it would’ve been better in a soap opera... when a soap opera tries to tackle a sensitive subject people care about it like 5 seconds after watching it and move on with their day. What made punchgate so fantastic was that it was infact real. These were real people living out a disturbing and uncomfortable chain of events. I didn’t even think a show like Cbb would be able to tackle a subject like this considering how tacky it can be, but it really has put false accusations under the microscope. Roxanne is only made better by the fact that she’s a real person. That she’s really trivialising domestic abuse and trying to ruin a mans life. It gives you something tangible to throw your distain towards and actually makes you think and emphasise with the situation. So many people asking questions like ‘imagine if she did this behind closed doors, if it happened in the bathroom ect’ has made people realise how severe stuff like this is. No other reality show could have this sort of scope. Like it’s not even comparable to Kim yelling at a bunch of z listers or Tiffany thinking David is dead. Sure, they’re far more hilarious and more akin to what big brother has been about for so many years. Punchgate was something quite different, something that I don’t think any other sort of medium could’ve pulled off in the way Cbb did. I mean she managed to become the 2nd most talked about and googled person in the uk off of a long dead tv show, alongside literal royalty lmfao
