It's a women's thing right?

montblanc 11-02-2019 07:10 PM

montblanc 11-02-2019 07:11 PM

unless if you're single then it can be quite miserable :(

SherzyK 11-02-2019 07:11 PM

Love has a man stressed out enough about how much money it's going to cost to keep the other half happy, it has made him doubt himself.

It's as cute as a blue waffled vagina.

I think the presence is just as important as the presents. Literally a box of celebrations is only 3 quid in Morrisons

Go for it

It's a bit like Mothers' Day and Fathers' Day; not strictly necessary, but a day to remember how important the respective parents, and partners, are.

thesheriff443 11-02-2019 07:59 PM

I think it can be a hard day if you recently broke up with someone.

Women love a bit of romance, its a good day to show a woman or man that they are appreciated.

parmnion 11-02-2019 08:09 PM

Don't you think it's all a bit forced..and thus not very loving.

It’s not mandatory that you celebrate valentines or give a gift you know. What you consider loving might not align with other people’s interpretation of it. Then again, you’ve shown anything BUT love

its a joke

In your case I can see why you are pro valentines day...it's a day where haters think that a poxy card and some mouldy chocolates that have been fingered to death on sainsbury aisles for 3 weeks can absolve them of all.sins.

It's a nice sentiment, but you shouldn't need a nominated day to show loved ones they're appreciated.

I’m not a hater at all and don’t know where you got that idea considering since Valentine’s Day promotes love :smug:

If not a box of chocolates then some flowers or a nice meal would do. No sin in that :hehe:

Somewhere like a fancy restaurant or a nice home cooked meal to save time. Candle lit dinner with violin playing in the background

Erm I’m sure they’re fine with just a dinner (indian) or even the thought that counts. I don’t know what women you’ve been with that make you think like that but I feel dead sorry for you. Not every woman acts like that though but that’s your perogative
