Does anyone else get the fear when hungover?

I’ve got hangover anxiety badly (the fear) and I never ever suffer with anxiety at any other time. Does anyone else experience this?

I don’t get hangovers :fan:

caprimint 06-04-2019 01:10 PM

Never had this before, I don't really ever get hangovers though

Check your phone hun

Otherwise there's nothing to worry about (unless you need to stop drinking so often)

Always

I've never really got this, maybe a few of those symptoms but not a ton of them or all at once from what I can remember. I also don't drink to the point of getting incredibly drunk or hungover that often.

Never perfect unless ya practise, anxiety is a state of mind you can deal with too.

Jessica. 06-04-2019 09:00 PM

I don't get drunk, so don't get hungover. I have regular anxiety every day though.

Gosh do you ! i have a close friend with terrible anxiety and i spend an awful lot of time reassuring and supporting her - i really don't get where the stress comes from mostly but its massively real for her , i feel so useless sometimes and other times i felt i made a difference and i do see her letting go of things that she has held on to in her mind which have caused bad stress for years ! so i'll keep being there .

Get a good listener and take advice sometimes and above all challenge your fears Jess.
I wish you less free from anxiety , i sincerely do.

chronic sighing gah

Never heard of this. I suffer with depression and have done for years but a really bad hangover triggers a bad bout of depression that can last for days. Actually had to (kind of :hehe:) quit drinking at all because of it. Not that I was a really regular drinker, but when I did it put me in a bad way. A happy, laughing drunk, but a depressive hangover.
