Haven't officially got it yet but me & my sister are getting him a $50 gift card for Dunkin Donuts and probably like a hat.

(He LOVES Dunkin Donuts & he LOVES wearing hats :p)

Okay you'll have to forgive me but I'm sure you can only ever use gift cards in one go right? At least the gift cards I've got, you can only use them once regardless of how little money you spend (i.e. you can only use a £20 gift card once, even if you only use it to buy something £5)

Is that not the case? Or is your dad just gonna buy 50 dollars worth of Dunkin Donuts in one sitting?

Ant. 15-06-2019 11:44 PM

(googling it, I seem to be wrong :skull: If he's gonna be spending 50 dollars in there, make sure he's got a membership if they do them, think of all the points he could gain :flutter: enough for half a cup of coffee, probably :idc: )

I haven't used a proper gift card since my nan stopped buying me £20 gift vouchers for British Home Stores vouchers ten years ago :oh: All other gift vouchers I've won (like Amazon gift vouchers) are money you load onto an account online!

My Dad is pretty much a Scrooge on Father’s Day he doesn’t really celebrate, so he always asks for practical things, last year he asked me to buy fence panels for the garden and I always refuse, so I just go safe and buy him chocolate

Jessica. 16-06-2019 10:48 AM

Don't have one

Calderyon 16-06-2019 11:20 AM

Nothing. Cause it's not Father's day in here.

caprimint 16-06-2019 11:22 AM

A text message! Nice and simple!

Matthew. 16-06-2019 11:24 AM

A hug.

Matthew. 16-06-2019 11:25 AM

Jk I got him a toblerone and a beer mug

Calderyon 16-06-2019 11:27 AM

Easiest one to get is a layer cake. Or a sandwich cake.

Morgan. 16-06-2019 11:33 AM

I was taking him out for breakfast and I’d booked it for 10:45 and they said they were still serving and I got there and they said breakfast finished 15 minutes ago and carvery doesn’t start until 12 :oh:

So I bought him (and his wife, and my Nan) a slice of their cake and a hot chocolate each and it cost me £30 :omgno:

Yeah you don't have to use it all in one sitting :joker:

And he goes to Dunkin Donuts for a coffee and a breakfast/lunch meal practically every single day, he'll probably go through that gift card in like a week max  He does already have the DD rewards program/membership as well!
