Realistically, who would of been cast for UBB2?

Something like:
Tiffany Pollard
Kim Woodburn
Natalie Nunn
Luisa Zissman
Frenchy
Nikki Grahame
Narinder
Chanelle McCleary/Hannah Agboola

Andy West
Jack & Joe
Cameron Cole
Stephen Bear
Perez Hilton
Courtney Act
Austin Armacost (again)

Barry. 02-08-2019 07:43 PM

I doubt they'd pick Natalie Nunn.

She has the agent that had like 5 clients on each season and wanted to do All Stars so

Ant. 02-08-2019 07:45 PM

Could you have picked a more tragic male line-up

Yeah but I don’t think contestants choose if they’re cast or not

Ant. 02-08-2019 07:47 PM

Idk why but I'm cackling at Narinder being the only Channel 4 era housemate (besides Nikki but that's a tad different especially with her stint in BB16)

Like if you're keeping options open and including Channel 4 housemates HOW did you arrive at the worst selection of male housemates

Ant. 02-08-2019 07:47 PM

(Also lol @ Joe and Bear being the only male jetties)

Just going by last series’s BOTS for Narinder, Jack/Joe, Andy etc and who obviously still have good relationships with C5

She also tried being on the show like 5 times before and was declined

That means nothing. Natalie isn't all stars worthy.

But was on the show the year it left and was on BOTS like 10 times, her trying before is irrelevant. Im just going on who would of been cast the year it ended and I think she would of. Periana!

Coleen came 2nd on her season, Calum got to the final had a fair amount of screen time.

Yeah jasmine is less deserving, but part of one of the biggest love triangles in the shows history and one kf the most memorable moments.

reece(: 02-08-2019 08:05 PM

Natalie is an icon and would fit UBB2 cast, NEXT?

But they at least did better than a first boot who thought she was being memorable by starting drama over nothing and then became the least memorable of the series

DouglasS 02-08-2019 10:06 PM

Natalie would be at the bottom of the pile, since when did UBB consider first boots or contestants that were not memorable/had no iconic moment

Who I think realistically they’d want (Regardless if I like them)
Ignoring all C4 contestants

Boys
Aaron (BB12)
Dexter (BB14)
Marc (BB16)
Cameron (BB19)
Perez Hilton (CBB15)
Bear (CBB18)
Courtney Act (CBB20)

Girls
Gina (BB14)
Helen (BB15)
Isabelle (BB18)
Denise Welch (CBB9) - likely to have one loose woman
Charlotte Crosby (CBB10) - Grim but likely
Tiffany Pollard (CBB17)
Kim Woodbury (CBB19)
Sarah Harding (CBB20)

Liam- 02-08-2019 10:07 PM

Let’s not pretend that C5 wouldn’t have put us through another series of Jack and ****ing Joe

Greg! 02-08-2019 10:38 PM

They wouldn’t have brought Bear back for a start. His win is once of the reason people switched off causing it to get axed, and Emma couldn’t stand him

All Stars rises off controversy etc. They bought Helen back the next season and she was just as marmite as Bear was, people had the same opinions. The show is about ratings, she couldn’t stand Helen either. It’s like them bringing Makosi back when Davina could stand her.. the presenter doesn’t get a say, also Makosi was probably the most hated woman in Britain when she came out, she still returned.

He would be a shoe in

I hate to challenge you/this but this is possibly wrong. He was offered £12,000 (same as CBB18) to appear in CBB19 (on launch I think?) but he rejected it because he was "the reigning champion and deserved more money". THEN the producers offered him more money to appear but he was, by contract, not allowed to accept the money/appear in CBB (but he wanted to because the money was apparently great/he couldn't 'turn it down) thanks to Celebs go Dating. So yeah the fact they tried to get him into CBB19 TWICE just screams "we love to polarise our viewers!"

But tbf, at the time of CBB19, all they had to do was go off was controversy/the backlash of Bear winning. But Helen was as controversial as they came and garnered a lot of Ofcom complaints yet BB16/the following series only suffered a loss of 170,000 viewers, and then BB17's numbers went up to 1.6 million. If Helen's win and return (bearing in mind BB17 followed Helen's much more controversial stint in BB16) didn't impact viewers, would Bear have if he returned? (well, probably not in the long-term, since it seems the damage was done/people stopped watching Big Brother after Bear. Not to say a good number of people got tired of the format, but it's a bit odd/not entirely coincidental that we saw a relatively large decrease in viewer numbers after Bear's win, but that's treading on your point alol)

Now whether the producers now would make the correlation between Bear's win and the viewing number decrease is another thing. But it's worth noting Helen was banned from BOTS/Big Brother altogether following BB16, while Bear was never banned despite similar levels of controversy. But that said, I don't recall seeing him on BOTS in CBB22/BB19 when I would assume his contract no longer prevented him from Big Brother appearances, so who knows where they stand on him

Source for £12k/being offered more money and his contract not allowing an appearance: https://www.celebsnow.co.uk/latest-c...-minute-626994 (also documented on other news websites so probably very valid, but after skimming this is the only article to give a reason/the contract)
