Following this, Dubai Police are currently looking for the man who Matty kissed, and he could be facing up to 10 years in prison, or death penalty.

And obviously in the society we live in, the video of this has spread like wildfire and everyone’s calling for it to be removed to protect the fan he kissed.

Well he should have known how strict it is there and should help that boy get out if he needs to.

I’d agree, but from what I can see the band had to leave Dubai immediately as authorities came to them first, so I don’t know how much they can actually do, and they’ve most likely been banned from returning.

His dad, Tim, has since clarified Matty was showing his support for gay rights in Dubai. It’s a tough situation though, because he’d have known the consequesces and now endangered someone innocent.
