bury fc might be kick out of football
There not played any games so far :amazed:
|
At this point I honestly think that the Bury fans need to get a Consortium together to try and save the club as it's looking quite bleak for a business person to takeover the club.

Has there been any reports of a takeover yet?
There's only 3 more days left to save them from expulsion, but I was just wondering if anyone has heard any good news about a possible change in fortune? |

It looks like Bolton are heading down the same route as well. I think both teams have games that are called off tonight. |

It is crazy how the EFL nor the FA are leaving two big teams in such a bad state and aren't trying to get the clubs off the owners. |
I would not call Bury a big team

Bury is a **** hole. I'm further appalled every time I catch the metrolink there
|
Their own fault tbh for going beyond their means in order to get promoted last season and depriving someone else of their league 1 spot
|
Just get rid of united, and replace them with greater Manchester's' sleeping giant.

They must have an acting school nearby |

I can't help but feel sorry for the fans though as it could easily be Blues in that situation, it's awful for the fans. |
The owner has had the opportunity to sell, so it could all have been avoided, he is just holding out for a better offer. Only one person to blame and as it's his club he can do as he wants

Anyway, it will be a shame if the club shuts due to mismanagment but if someone is allowed to buy a club for £1, it doesn't show much financial commitment in the first place |

A deal will probably be done before the deadline
|
if there is any justice, then they should get new owners since this club exists for so long already, i guess they belong to the FA's hall of fame
if they get kicked out, i think it might upset a lot of people in Bury :( |

Thankfully Sky Sports News have said that four parties are interested in buying the club so hopefully Steve Dale will accept one of these offers. |

So apparently the owner wants almost £1m plus £1.5m paid of a debt that stands around £9m
No wonder nobody has brought the club |
Quote:
https://www.manchestereveningnews.co...r-efl-16802838 The club's current and former players, and other football creditors, are owed approximately £1m, Dale recently engineered a debt repayment deal to pay off 25 per cent of the club's unsecured debt of nearly £9million and there are three outstanding charges over the club and Gigg Lane, not to mention the matter of a covenant on the ground that means it must be used for sporting purposes. |
