As on here and social media , are you the same person that you would be in real life?

I would say I am much more talkative online sites than in real life.

I am who I am on here. Same person as in real life.

Yes...I would say exactly what I say to anyone on here in real life....no matter who they are or who they think I am..


And I have on many occasions without the hassle and accusations you get on tibb.

I'm probably a bit more laid back on here , you cant really be the same with strangers as you are with people you know and facial expressions also mean a lot as to how we perceive people. sometimes a joke can be taken wrong by someone who doesn't know you ,plus on here you cant really say what you want to on some subjects.

I would say that I can express myself better offline than I can online.

And I can be more nervous when communicating with strangers offline than I can be online.

Mostly. In all honesty I barely give two ****s about politics, despite most of my recent posts being in this section xD my actual political interests pretty much end at environmentalism - I'm pretty passionate about preserving the green areas of the UK, and strongly dislike urbanisation.

I'm pretty affable and amiable, and a giant geek - some of these may come across more than others on this site, especially outside of SD&N.

I'm much less intense in rl and avoid politics. My real interests are in sciences anyway.

I don't have much time for political talk IRL if I'm honest :idc:

I'm more likely to engage in debate in RL than on here. Sometimes, its just not worth it :laugh:

I'd say overall yes.

Except on here on serious issues to me, whereas off here talking to others face to face, I would talk longer and try to reason longer.

On here I give up and see no point a lot of the time.

Depends who you ask. Around wife, kids and close friends 100%. Around most other people ... less so. And at my old place of work I basically morphed into someone I don't even really recognize the second I stepped through the door :joker:.
