I think the whole point of the thread went right over your head. Here is what I meant :

James is always going on about how chivalrous he is, imo he views women as less than, fragile little flowers that need looking after and telling what to do by the men, therefore I found it humorous when he got beaten by one of those women in the task

I think James just wanted to win regardless of who he'd beat , we all know he's competitive.

It didn't go over my head Niamh , I don't think he cared much about Adele beating him .
