Are your decorations up?

Ours are up inside and out and I know our Nicky91s are up so who else has now got the tree up

and who has a barren cold empty house devoid of festive cheer?

Ours can't go up until we get some painting done inside so it's going to be really late, maybe a week before Christmas :skull:

Cherie 02-12-2019 01:16 PM

In progress...

Jigs 02-12-2019 01:18 PM

No room for a tree but we put lights and decorations up last week!

Liam- 02-12-2019 01:44 PM

Doing it bit by bit every day as I’m doing it by myself this year, out lights and ornaments out yesterday (the Christmas clock which plays Christmas music on the hour, every hour is my personal fave) and doing the tree tonight, just got porch lights to after after that

Kazanne 02-12-2019 01:47 PM

Ours are going up at the weekend , got some lovely snowfall lights for outside this year, they look amazing.

LeatherTrumpet 02-12-2019 01:56 PM

we have warm white for outside and on sat I installed 2 outdoor sockets for the front so there is no mess with wires etc. And i just tell Alexa to switch on the lights and then she turns them off at night

:hee:

I am putting the decs up tonight. Tomorrow is the 5th anniversary of my Mum's passing and so my son likes to have them up to bring a bit of festiveness for her and we have a memorial bauble that has pride of place on the tree

That would get thrown across the room before the end of the first day in this house. :worry:

smudgie 02-12-2019 02:43 PM

No.
We were going to wait until the fireplace had arrived.
But as it’s all taking too long to make our minds up we will stick the garland to the wall with command hooks:joker:
Tree and decs should be sorted midweek hopefully.

parmnion 02-12-2019 03:26 PM

Saw the local pervert putting his christmas tree up today..looked painful but he was smiling anyway

Glenn. 02-12-2019 04:23 PM

Kate! 02-12-2019 04:38 PM

That's really lovely, Annie.

I'll put mine up at the weekend.

Calderyon 02-12-2019 04:56 PM

No decorations really.

We'll the door thingy and Christmas star (not switched on yet), but those are always up anyway through out the year. Just have to switch the star on is: light the star up.

Christmas tree goes up and decorated a few days before Christmas Eve.

rusticgal 02-12-2019 05:03 PM

It’s fine through the day, not so fun when you forget to turn it off so have to march downstairs at 3am to get rid of the distant sound of Jingle Bells.
