It's Week Ten, and Lord Sugar summons the candidates to Burlington House in central London. A cultural hub for the arts and sciences, it is home to five learned societies, including the Royal Society of Chemistry.
So for their next task, Lord Sugar asks the candidates to don their lab coats and goggles as he challenges them to create and sell their own perfume. The teams will have to come up with their own signature scents and design and brand a unique bottle, before attempting to secure sales from two major retailers. This task requires both creativity and a real nose for business. If they get it right, they could be sniffing victory in the boardroom.
For one team, a failure to make decisions means they get all bunged up. On the other, a bold attempt to make their fragrance stand out causes a stink. In the boardroom, for one team it is the sweet smell of success, while for the other the scent of defeat lingers in the air as they each fight to avoid hearing the words, 'You're Fired!'

In paper, Carina and Scarlett are the clear final 2.

But the business plans will probably throw a spanner to things.

However likeable Lottie may or may not be, I'd bet her business plan is spot-on.

Everyone’s business plans are under scrutiny so that shouldn’t tell you that Scarlett is in trouble. Sians business plan was ripped to shreds last year and she ended up winning

Dean should've left in week 1. I think he has probably been quite embarrassed watching back his delusions on the show. Hopefully he's back down on Earth with the rest of us now and can realise that he overstayed his welcome and contributed nothing to the show!


Carina's trajectory is pretty on par with Helen from series 7, who won 10/11 tasks and also had a 3-0 track record as PM. Carina has won 9/10 tasks but I guess the format of this series will prevent her from winning an eleventh.

This episode with two adults not knowing what "androgynous" means, and a few weeks back where Lottie was the only one who knew when WWII was (just embarrassing) makes me wonder if me and all my friends and families are actually geniuses, or if the candidates are all just stupid :joker:

Y'know what they should have called the unisex perfume?
