X Factor needs sacking. So does BGT.

Niamh. 12-12-2019 09:31 AM

Jigs 12-12-2019 09:31 AM

I blame the lack of Sinitta for these low viewing figures tbh.

Elliot 12-12-2019 01:37 PM

It’s so boring :skull: cancel ha

Ryebailey23 12-12-2019 01:40 PM

What a shame I’m enjoying it

Dogeatdog 12-12-2019 01:45 PM

Channel 5 knew Aldi ways to bring in viewers.

X Factor: 1.7m viewers

Aldi: 1.9m viewers

Every Lidl helps.

But, to be honest, most TV shows have lower viewing figures (even with live streaming), mainly due to the fact that people watch it hours after being aired (even here in the US, its the same type of situation).

The Masked Singer to be X factor in disguise?

James 12-12-2019 03:27 PM

It's like when Channel 5 showed another series of Big Brother immediately after a full series had just finished. People have just seen a winner crowned and are tired of the show.

It's true what you're saying, but even still TXF shouldn't be losing in the ratings to an Aldi Documentary.

Aldi mums coming for simon cowell?

Firewire 12-12-2019 07:28 PM

Ben Frow will be rubbing his grubby little hands together with glee

A Celebrity 5 Go to Aldi series on the cards?

Captain.Remy 12-12-2019 08:42 PM

When I used to live in the UK, X Factor hit like 10 millions or something! It's crazy how it went down, but I suppose people got tired of it, just like The Voice or those talent shows as a whole.

Tony Montana 13-12-2019 01:01 PM

Embarrassing. Talk about flogging a dead horse.

Just axe the ****ing thing!

Epic. 13-12-2019 01:05 PM

I'm not surprised at all. It's been losing around a million viewers each year the past few years.

The last great series for me was when Little Mix won back in 2011.

Epic. 13-12-2019 01:05 PM

If it goes on for another three years time, I wouldn't be surprised if it got below 1 million

I think we are getting one more series. The new deal is for BGT and it said 1 more year of x factor.
