Do you gamble a bit more than you should?

:suspect:

I don't gamble at all :joker:.

This is a bit of a non-move though, you already can't use credit cards in shop... and for online, it takes less than 2 minutes to ciphon money from a credit card to digital funds (or bank account) using PayPal.

(You just set up two PayPal accounts, one attached to the credit card and one to your bank account, "gift" money from the CC account to the bank-attached account, then withdraw it to your bank  )

M21 forcing the bookies to tighten their belts.

There's a limit to how much you can fund using mobile in a month usually though, like £100 I think, which is small potatoes.

I know this because at one point my Playstation Store account was ****ed up and kept getting "unknown error" if I tried to add funds using debit card or PayPal and "fund by mobile" was the ONLY option that worked . Thankfully PayPal seems to work again now... but it still won't even let me add a new debit card :fist:.

£50 a week...no more, no less.

Bookies would love across the board credit gambling :joker:. Its the government cracking down because they heard that a young chap was racking up tens of thousands of pounds of debt from his huge house.

Cherie 14-01-2020 02:25 PM

No, I was listening to that debate and some of the debts racked up are jaw dropping

Marsh. 14-01-2020 03:08 PM

thesheriff443 14-01-2020 04:09 PM

Bet 365 uk owned, revenue 2.981 billion in 2019.

smudgie 14-01-2020 04:17 PM

We put £16 on the lottery every 4 weeks.
Used to be double that but we knocked the Euro on the head.

Might have a flutter on the horses, very rarely these days though.
My dad was a big gambler on the geegees.
Won a few fortunes..but lost a lot more over the years.
