Video [A mother of an eight-year-old child — who has become an Instagram star thanks to his long hair — has launched a campaign to stop schools from forcing boys to cut their locks as she says it discriminates against black children.] Bollocks to Instagram Cut the Brats hair |
There are more important things in the world, let parents decide when they cut their kids hair ffs, as long as they adhere to uniform then what difference does hair make, bunch of jobsworths

Be Sensible he is a young kid meant to get Education Not be a Fake Model under his Bonkers Mothers Direction on Instagram |
And he can get an education, long hair won’t stop him from doing so

Being overly concerned with another child's hair is weird. It is their's and their parents choice.
I knew girls in school with longer than the boy in the clip but no one ever tried to tell them to cut it. |

No Dezzy the Schools are blocking that kid. get his Hair CUT. Greedy Mother Wanting to Make Instagram CASH. |
If he is a hair model then his hair is his income. I agree with this decision that as long as it's braided for school then it should be allowed to stay.

Two of my nephews have very long hair, they are both into heavy metal music, one works as a stage hand now so his school days are over ,but his school didnt seem to have a problem with it although it wasn't so long then, but the other one is at school, he goes to a grammar school and they have told his dad that he must have it tied back if he wants to keep it long or get it cut , we understand they need to be safety conscious, but it doesn't affect his education, if its clean and tidy,I see no issues, just tie it back at school,i saw this child this morning,he has gorgeous hair.

As hair length in no way affects his ability to learn, I see no issue with why it has to be cut. Girl's are allowed hair at a length of their choosing so boys should not be any different.
As long as it does not pose any risk to him or anyone else (such as getting caught in any PE equipment or set on fire in the science lab as a happened to a girl at my school which was especially bad as she was partial to a looooot of hairspray) and is tied back to avoid any issues why should he have to cut it. Also, Arista - why is he a "BRAT"? |

His hair is gorgeous and he looks happy and bright. I don't think schools should try to tell children what to do with their bodies.
I looked at his Instagram https://instagram.com/faroukjames?igshid=wgq2dk0uumao |
