She recently followed the Eurovision accounts and former contestants

LukeB 26-01-2020 10:14 PM

I mean she has a great voice but if they send her with a bland ballad they may aswell not go.

If it's a big memorable ballad she could do well

Denver 26-01-2020 10:19 PM

Never mind she denied it

Denver 26-01-2020 10:19 PM

I can see Fluer East doing it

LeatherTrumpet 26-01-2020 10:23 PM

She would win

Liam- 26-01-2020 10:56 PM

She’s announcing something tomorrow, and insider accounts are saying to keep an eye on her.

Has Sam Bailey ever done anything other than a bland ballad or a cover? She can sing but she was so dull.

his song was the last good one we put in

Mystic Mock 27-01-2020 10:48 AM

If she takes the gig on then I wish her the best of luck.

However the BBC would have to give her a song that doesn't send a message about us all joining together in peace like what we always send out at Eurovision.

Nope

It was miles better than all the useless clueless trash listed below

2019: Michael Rice
2018: SuRie
2017: Lucie Jones.
2016: Joe and Jake.
2015: Electro Velvet.
2014: Molly.:umm2:
2013: Bonnie Tyler.

2016 and 2017 were both great entries, and 2018 was decent too.

The rest were total shite though, including Engelbert.

Why the EFF are we still in the Eurovision , it's a joke :bored:.
I haven't watched it for yearssss , UK always do badly.
I remember when Andrew Lloyd Webber begged other countries to vote , that's the only year I remember us getting 5th place or something.

It's always political, doesn't matter what you sing.
You could have the best performance of the night and still get low points  .

Livia 28-01-2020 12:23 PM

I don't know why we still enter. I don't know why we still contribute so much money either. On Eurovision night we should have a show in the UK celebrating all the amazing music that's come from this country over the years and Eurovision can stick to it's over-produced, thirty-years-out-of-date, bong-bang-a-ding-dong euro-pop. Nein danke.

Having said that.... it's a great night for a party.

just don't take the contest too serious, UK should try sending more upbeat fun songs rather than ballads

Scooch (UK 2007) is still being talked about in eurovision forums, eurovision discord servers

LeatherTrumpet 28-01-2020 01:01 PM

we dont do well because the songs are unimaginative and rubbish and sung by kids who dont understand or believe in them

its that simple

Christ. How many buzz words do you want to get in?

Funny how Portugal won in 2017 despite being the resident flops bc they sent a song that Europe got behind.
