Agreed. I wasnt sure if that is what he was refering to.

I used to suck my thump untill I was about 8, but then my dentist said I should stop. For me, it wasnt to hard, but my sister still sucks her thump if she is tired or has a hang over! (18)

I just thought, "I have to stop now...it's getting stupid" I didn't want it to mess up my teeth either.

While we are on the subject, I believe your supposed to coat a baby's thumbs with mustard powder to discourage thumb sucking.
