Didn't know what section to put this in but meh. I really want to see this musical, I have the soundtrack and just started listening to it recently after someone reminded me of Defying Gravity and its such an amazing song
Idina Menzel is a goddess.

 Are you serious? I think I may have just had a mild heart attack! Wicked is amazing. One of the best musicals around at the moment.

I saw this show I think it was last year with Kerry Ellis as Elphaba and I loved it. The sets, the special effects, acting and music were all great.

Hugo 10-06-2009 06:16 PM

I'd say its one of the best musicals EVER.

It's one of the musicals of this time. And, will probably be popular for a very long time.

Jen 10-06-2009 06:20 PM

I'm not a big fan of musicals... but I adore Wicked.
I like plays better.
I'm such a thespian.

Hugo 10-06-2009 06:26 PM

SAME JEN.
I cried during Much Ado About Nothing. So emotional.

It is the worst musical I have ever seen, and i have seen a LOT of musicals.
Terrible plot, completley unbelievable, the ending was awful, the premise could have been written by a 3 year old, the songs were completley second-rate and "Popular" was the only marginally good one and that became very overrated... I could go on.

Hugo 10-06-2009 06:28 PM

It isn't exactly supposed to be believable LOL

Not all musicals have to believable. LOL Maybe some like non-believable musicals lol

Adamw92 10-06-2009 07:00 PM

I'd love to see Wicked too :D and theres a movie out next year :D thoght they said it might be delayed a few years possibly

Tom4784 10-06-2009 08:19 PM

I preffered the book, the musical was fun but It was basically a different story from the book altogether. If you consider it seperately from the book though it wasn't bad at all.

I like Mary Poppins and ChittyChittyBangBang and they're not believable.

Wicked is completley overrated claptrap.

Hugo 10-06-2009 09:00 PM

Jen I just watched your video, and omg I love it.

Ew. It's like my first ever video. Hahaha.

Fom 10-06-2009 09:18 PM

It's a good musical, I have seen it in London. At times I can't help but feel its a bit too much but thats musicals for you, never been a huge fan of musicals, they are just too much.

They are making Wicked into a film apparently, Idina being 'Elphaba' and rumoured Nicole Kidman as 'Glinda' although I doubt that... as Glinda sings opera haha.
