The first round of episodes just dropped. Episode 1 run time is 1 hour 3 minutes. So just as I suspected the episode on YouTube was heavily edited.

It’s cheaper to fly everyone to the UK and use the same crew than it is to set up a new production base in each country. So even if Netflix pick up The Circle for another series I doubt they will...
