Sugar just didn’t click with me as well as the others did.
I think what killed her for me was the whole ‘being gross’ shtick, which put me off Owen. Maybe it’s a shallow reason to dislike a character, but yeah, it meant that half the time she was on the screen, I wasn’t enjoying her.
I did find her funny that aside though. I dunno why, but the line “WAIT that’s just Scuba bear-“ when Bling Bear is introduced makes me laugh for some reason

Sadly her comedy was situational for me and I wasn’t too big of a fan of her ‘gross’ traits. And she didn’t have any notable interactions with other characters (besides that odd alliance-members-turned-enemies thing with Sky post-merge but meh
) or truly any ‘story’. And in a thirteen episode season, not everyone needs full development or story – especially not comic relief (and a good one, at that). But when I can find myself not liking Sugar for her comedy and there’s not much else going for her, I have to cut her now. She’s got a respectful placing, IMO – and while maybe she should’ve been cut next round, there’s no guarantee she’s being nommed. (Although on that note, I simply liked other characters a lot more than Sugar out of the list of noms – I was only possibly gonna cut Dwayne over her.)
