Yeah, another downfall. I didn't mind doing late nights and lock ins (mind, I refused to serve anyone in the lockin unless they also bought me a drink as I didn't get paid for after 11pm..) but it was such a pain in the arse to get home. Until I moved above the pub I was working in of course! Don't know if I could deal with the 12 hour shifts and 4am finishes while I have the kids though..

Indeed. Honestly, a lot of the time I find being at home much much more stressful than I ever found work. At least I could have a crap at work without someone popping their head round the door to whinge that someone else has hit them with a spoon r something..
