I'd suggest that there's a difference between hobby-gaming and casual-gaming personally, I'd probably also say the same about movies. There's a difference between everyone enjoying a good movie and someone who is genuinely invested in the "art" of movie making and likes reading up about score composers, directors, cinematography etc.

I do otherwise agree though that general entertainment isn't really a "hobby" per se...
